ST. Louis Skyline Posters are made up of movable type and printed on a Vandercook press. The concept behind this poster was to create the STL skyline out of type. instead of focusing on language, I focused on the form of the different fonts. additionally, I begin to look at this poster as a study of how type can be used as a design tool instead of drawing shape. I pulled two versions of this print one in a grey tone and one in a tan craft tone.
